Moxie Fab - Holiday Gift tag

Happy Saturday!  I am sharing my little Christmas tag for the Moxie Fab Gift tag challenge.   I usually don't make many gift tags but decided to challenge myself and make one.  I really love how it turned out and think I just might make a bunch of these.  :)

I also wanted to share my card for the last challenge for this month over at StampNation.  We had a great time using photos as our inspiration this month.  I really enjoy seeing how the DT members and StampNation members were inspired by the different photos.  So fun.  I also LOVE that the challenge NEVER close on StampNation.  Members can come back to these challenges a week, month and even years later and still participate.

Here is the inspiration photo:

Speech bubbles

Hi friends.  Today I posted Trends Article #13 over at StampNation.  I featured Speech Bubbles.  This was one of my cards.  I followed the sketch over at The Paper Players.  I love the wood veneer pieces.

Here is the sketch:

Here is another card I featured:

I used the new bubble talk dies from PTI, added the sequins behind the layer, then added the rhinestones to each one.  The Merry Christmas is stamped on vellum.  I am entering this card over at the Holiday Card Challenge at Moxie Fab World & Simon Says: Anything Goes.

I made two more cards for this Article but if you want to see them you need to become a member of StampNation.  ;)

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Cardstock:  Smoky Slate, whisper white
Ink: Versamark
Stamps:  Christmas Greetings (retired SU!)
Accessories:  Circle dies, snowflake die (Lil Inker), Baker's twine, white embossing powder, rhinestone, Winter Frost DSP

Runway Inspired Hello

Hi friends!  Today's card was inspired by the latest Runway Inspired challenge.  I loved the colors and the design of the dress and just had to put my idea to paper.  This came out exactly how I had envisioned it.  I was also inspired by a pair of my sandals that have the same criss cross pattern.

Here is the photo:

Isn't it fun?  I made my card base out of a window sheet but put white cardstock on the inside base so I can write a little message.  I also put another piece on the back to hide the adhesive.  To hide the adhesive on the front pieces I cut and attached the black mat pieces and glued them on the inside.  :)  I used SU!'s spritzer took to mimic the dress pattern.  I just realized I didn't use any stamps on this card.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Cardstock:  Whisper white, basic black
Accessories:  Spritzer tool, Pacific point, Daffodil delight & Pumpkin Pie markers, Hello die (PTI), Butterfly punches (SU!), rhinestones, window sheet, paper piercing tool and mat pack

Here is the sketch:

Happy Christmas

***This is my second post for today, scroll down or click here.***

My card for today is for the new Seize the Sketch challenge and also the Monday Mood Board.  I haven't received my new Wplus9 goodies yet so I decided to use this set that I recently purchased from a friend and is new to me!   I love it.

Here is the sketch:

and the Mood Board:

I was inspired by the blues in the photo and the pop of gold.

I am also entering this card over at Addicted to CAS.  The code word is Holiday.  :)

**Edited** to add to Moxie Fab's Holiday card challenge & Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger: I'm craving Navy.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Cardstock:  Not quite navy, whisper white, gold glitter paper
Ink:  Not quite navy & Baja Breeze
Stamps:  Fair Isle Backgrounds (Wplus9), More Merry Messages
Accessories:  Snowflake dies ( Lil' Inker)

Yay! It's your birthday for Lil' Inkers

Hi friends.  I am sharing my card for Lil' Inker's 3rd Birthday celebration. I used the Cover up die: Pierced Chevrons.  Love this die.  I cut it once using whisper white and knew I wanted to fill in each row with the rainbow colors but didn't want to die cut each of the colors so I used my Stampin' Up! markers to color each chevron in the different rainbow colors.  I stamped the sentiment on vellum cardstock and wrapped it around so I didn't have to be creative in hiding my glue.  Stamped a few little stars in black to finish it off.

I was inspired by the yummy looking cake in this photo:

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Cardstock:  Whisper White, basic black, vellum
Ink:  Versafine black
Stamps:  Stylish Sentiments: Birthday (PTI)
Accessories:  Cover up die: Pierced Chevrons (Lil' Inkers), real red, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight, old olive, pacific point & Rich Razzleberry SU! markers
