So thankful

Hi everyone!  Can you believe tomorrow is Nov. 1st?!  I have a lot of friends and family members with birthdays in November.  I love the Monthly Moments stamps by Papertrey Ink.  I made a bunch of these cards just switching out the leaves.

I stamped the leaf using the amazing Tomato Vine Kaleidacolor ink pad.  Love the gradient color you get with these ink pads.  I followed the sketch at The Paper Players.

I am adding this to Simon Says Challenge: Anything Goes.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Ink:  Tomato Vine (Kaleidacolor), Versafine Black

A Very Trendy Holiday Inspiration & A WINNER!!!!

Hi friends!
I am back with another card that was inspired by A Very Trendy Holiday 2.0!
My card was inspired by a card Catherine made on StampNation, she was inspired by a card Sue made and shared on StampNation.  Sue's card was inspired by a card Allison made for the class.
Whew!  How is that for inspiration?!!!

Catherine embossed images in gold on kraft cardstock.  It looked amazing and I knew I had to try it.  Instead of embossing in gold, I used my Golden Glitz, Delicata ink pad and sponged through my Poinsettia stencil.  I am absolutely in LOVE with this gold ink pad.  If you don't have it, I highly recommend it for your holiday cards or any cards.  It is amazing!  This photo doesn't capture the shimmer but in person it really sparkles and shines.  I apologize for the photo too, the weather has been very gray here so my picture quality is not the greatest.

AND now for the winner of a FREE spot in A Very Trendy Holiday 2.0....

Drum roll....

Merry Monday #132

Happy Monday friends!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week Lesley challenges us to use snowflakes, dry embossing and neutral colors on our card.

Isn't this graphic beautiful?  I used my embossing folder by Stampin' Up! for the bottom half of my Very Vanilla panel.  I used the vanilla, velvet ribbon and the snowflake die from Wplus9 in kraft.  The button is from my button sizzlet.  The sentiment is from Verve's Merry & Bright.

Christmas will be here before you know it.  Make sure you check out the other DT members cards over at the Merry Monday challenge blog.

Pink Christmas

Hi everyone!  I am back again today with yet another Christmas card.  When I saw the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch! I knew exactly what I wanted to do.  I purchased the connected circles die from Lil' Inker a while ago but, sadly it has been very neglected.  It works perfectly for this sketch.  My first thought was to use flowers in the circles.  I was searching my stamps and found this snowflake from the Four Seasons stamp set by SU and it was perfect.

I also searched around for a color combo and found on Amy's blog that Jingle Belles is hosting a Pink Christmas card challenge in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month.   I knew I had to play along.  For every card that is linked up $2 is being donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation!  I love pink and silver together on a Christmas card.

**Editing to Add this over at Virginia View's Challenge.**

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Stamps:  Four Seasons (SU), Keep it Simple: Christmas (PTI)
Ink:  Regal Rose, Silver (Hero Arts), Versamark
Paper:  Regal Rose, Whisper White, Silver (Bazzil)
Accessories:  White Embossing powder, Rhinestones, Connected Circles Die (Lil' Inker)

Merry Monday #130

Happy Monday friends!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week LeAnne challenges us to be inspired by "Silent Night".

I was inspired to try to recreate the scene in the photo.  I used my dies from Papertrey Ink.  I love these little houses and the church up on the hillside.  The sentiment is an older one from Papertrey Ink called Silent Night.

Christmas will be here before you know it.  Make sure you check out the other DT members cards over at the Merry Monday challenge blog.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Merry Monday #129

Happy Monday everyone!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week I am the challenge hostess.  I challenge you to use neon colors on your Christmas card. Use a little or a lot, it is up to you.  Use neon inks and/or papers.  I can't wait to see all the neon Christmas in the gallery!  Have fun!

I decided to just use neon paper on my card.  I have all the Neon ink pad colors from Imagine crafts but didn't feel led to use them for this challenge.  I used the Pine Trio background & outline dies from Memory box using the inlaid die cutting technique.  The sentiment is from Ornament Banner Builder by My Favorite Things.

I hope you will join us this week to get a head start on your Christmas cards for 2014.  Make sure you check out the other DT members cards over at the Merry Monday challenge blog.

I am adding this over at Virginia's View Challenge.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Merry Christmas on WCMD

Hi everyone!
I am popping in real quick with a couple of cards.

For this card I followed the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch!

While I was at it why not make another card using the same supplies but making it a little different?!

I am not sure which one I like better, do you have a preference?

I will also link up to Virgina's View Challenge - Clean and Simple.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Inks:  Cherry Cobbler, Fresh Snow (PTI), Soft Sand (Hero Arts)
Accessories: Linen thread

Joy to the World

Happy World Card Making Day everyone!  Do you have any creative plans for the day?  We have been celebrating since yesterday morning at 8am over on StampNation.  Check out this post for more details.

This card is for the Hero Arts Holiday challenge in the White out category.  I absolutely LOVE these geometric ornaments.  Instead of coloring them in I used the back of each stamp to stamp in Neon colors.  A great way to add color without coloring.  My sentiment was embossed using Black Sparkle embossing powder.  I love that this powder matches the Black sparkle paper I found at my local craft store.

I followed this sketch.

I am also adding this to Virginia's View Challenge- Clean and Simple.

Thank you for visiting and hope you have a great WCMD.  Hope you make some time to get inky!

Stamps:  Christmas Crystals (Hero Arts), Christmas Carols ( CAS-ual Fridays)
Ink:  Radiant Neon Electric Blue, Orange & Pink, Versamark
Paper:  White, Black Glitter
Accessories:  Black Sparkle embossing powder, Black Sequins (PPP)
