With Sympathy & Peek

Hi everyone!
Today's card was inspired by the awesome sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch!

The sketch worked perfectly with my new feather stamp set by Papertrey Ink.  I masked, sponged & added watermarks to the rectangle, stamped and die cut the feather, popped it up on black fun foam to add dimension.  Attached to a piece of black cardstock and added the little bow to finish it off.

Wanted to share a sneak peek of my card for this week's challenge over at StampNation.
This week was a fun inspiration photo to welcome spring to those in the Northern Hemisphere.

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!
Today's card was inspired by Laurie's, Make it Monday challenge: Score Lines, the colors over at ColourQ and the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

I used Papertrey Ink's Watercolor Wonder to create a colorful backdrop for the Happy Birthday die.  It is hard to get a good photo of my score lines, but they are down the sides of the card on both sides.  You can see the one on the left much better that the one on the right.  Believe me, they are there.  :(

Here is another card using the same supplies.

I was able to capture the score lines a bit better in this photo.

Rainbow balloons

Hi everyone!
Today's card is for the Rainbow challenge over at Curtain Call.

I stamped the balloons from the latest Stamp of Approval Young at Heart Collection in rainbow colors.  I love the different shaped balloons.  I trimmed the panel down, attached it to a black card base and heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder.  I added some sequins to finish it off.

Speaking of Stamp of Approval.......

The next Stamp of Approval Collection comes out next month.  Sneak peeks begin April 15th.

Whimsy Challenge - Spring Colors or Easter

Hi everyone!
I am popping in with my card for this month's Whimsy Challenge.
The theme is - Spring Colors or Easter.

I chose to work with soft spring colors on my hot air balloon.  I did light sponging on the card base to create sky, added the die cut balloon and then stamped the sentiment from Everyday Mini sentiments.

Anyone can enter this challenge and you don't even have to use Whimsy products, although it would be great if you did.  There is also a prize offered.

 Hope you will play along
Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Stamps:  Everyday Mini sentiments & Up, Up & Away (Clearly Whimsy)
Ink:  Winter Wisteria, Mint Julep (PTI), Black, Broken China distress ink

Here is one of Michele's cards.

I am also adding my card over at Less is MoreCITRUS colors.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
